Asynchrony Solutions is an award-winning IT consulting firm that was
established in 1999. We focus on systems integration, custom-application
development and secure collaboration and serve the United States Department
of Defense, other public-sector organizations and Fortune 1000 companies.
Our sister company, Asynchrony HUBZone, was established in 2005 to offer
identically focused technical expertise to clients who need to fulfill

Principal Bios
Steve Elfanbaum (President), prior to helping found Asynchrony, had 11 years of systems design, development and implementation experience with Fortune 100 companies. He has been responsible for assessing and managing the systems architecture for both GE Capital and Deutsche Financial Services. As President of Asynchrony Solutions, Steve has consulted with American Financial Group, Time Warner, Fleet Mortgage and other leading companies in e-Architecture and complex systems integration projects. Steve has designed and managed the development and implementation of significant applications related to Internet-enabling an organization, reengineering and automating workflows, and managing information throughout the supply chain. He is a published technology author, instructor and speaker.Nate McKie (Chief Technology Officer) had 12 years of industry experience in corporate development and project management. He has worked on significant global integration projects and has experience in a broad range of financial services companies, including finance companies, insurance, mortgage banking, etc. He has extensive expertise in web development, imaging and workflow, process automation and intranet/extranet applications.
Bob Elfanbaum (Chief Executive Officer) is a CPA with 20 years of broad-based experience in management, sales, accounting, financial analysis and operations. In his eight years at Price Waterhouse, Bob managed relationships for middle-market companies, including taking two clients through the IPO process. In addition, as Chief Financial Officer of Virbac Corporation (NASDAQ: VBAC), a public animal health company, Bob managed the financial operations of the Company, including successfully completing three acquisitions, synergistically merging operating units and successfully implementing a recapitalization of the company to facilitate future growth, resulting in a 300%+ increase in stock price. Bob a co-founder and the CEO of Asynchrony Solutions, Inc., which has been one the top ten fastest growing, privately-held companies in St. Louis 2004 - 2006, one of the Top 50 companies in the St. Louis region (2005 and 2006), a member of the Inc. 500 in 2005 (and pending for 2006) as one of the fastest growing companies in the country, and winner of the Inner City 100 Award in 2005 as the 38th fastest growing company in the United States headquartered in an inner city. Bob is responsible for business development, finance, legal and HR functions, supported by a ten-person staff. As part of his role, he helps Fortune 1000 companies and large Military and public sector organizations define and implement rational enterprise architectures to provide the capability to capitalize on and react to an ever-changing business environment. As the technical lead for the AT21 ACTD at USTRANSCOM, Bob helped lead a successful technology effort validating use of process change and technology insertion to transform the transportation planning process for the Department of Defense. Bob was also a key participant in the Company’s involvement with the Defense Collaboration Tool Suite, which includes the Company’s development of the Envoke™ collaboration service, both from a business management and technical perspective. Bob lives in Chesterfield, MO with his wife and three daughters.
David Elfanbaum (Vice President, Marketing and Business Development)
leads a creative team delivering marketing communication for Asynchrony and its clients. In addition to waging a one-man crusade against bullet-laden PowerPoint presentations, David has helped Asynchrony translate its success and expertise into an array of awards, press coverage and national recognition. Asynchrony’s recent honors include back-to-back inclusion in St. Louis Commerce Magazine’s list of St. Louis’ Top 50 Companies and recognition as an Inc. 500 company for its first eligible year. Before joining Asynchrony, David’s twenty-year career focused on helping small businesses transform tight marketing budgets into significant sales revenues through direct mail, broadcast advertising, telemarketing and public relations. David’s current passion is using digital storytelling techniques to translate complex concepts into clear and meaningful communication. David lives in St. Louis, MO with his wife and two children.
